comfortaire elite s reviewsThe average person will spend approximately 22 years of their life sleeping. With nearly 1/3 of our lives spent in our bed, picking the right mattress can become an extremely important task, especially for those of us who tend to share our beds with another person! Mattress preference can vary greatly between each individual and no one should have to sacrifice their precious hours of sleep for another. Luckily, there are several adjustable mattresses available that will please anyone’s needs! Today, Iwill compare top two adjustable beds on the market: The Comfortaire Elite S and the Sleep Number P6

Comfortaire Elite S Reviews

Starting at $2,200 uses much thicker material then their original Elite 1. This adds the benefit of added comfort and support while you sleep. In addition, this bed is actually quite eco-friendly. According to Comfortaire’s lab tests, their beds are low emission (VOCs) and are made without:

  • Ozone depleters
  • Toxic flame retardants
  • Illegal phthalates
  • Formaldehyde

There are 5 comfort layers including a bamboo cover, a 3 1/2 inch green-tea scented topper foam, and urethane air champers. The split top makes this bed adjustable for either sides comfort level. According to the reviews on their website, the Comfortaire Elite S scored 5 stars in nearly all of the category’s listed.

Sleep Number P6 Reviews

This bed is actually a bit cheaper then the Comfortaire, starting at $1,899. The Sleep Number P6 might be considered the first “Smart Bed” in that it has sensors that track your rate of breath, heart rate, and how much movement you make during the night. The “Sleep IQ” system then registers this information and can actually help you sleep better throughout the night. The Sleep Number also comes with “Fiberfill” which helps absorb moisture and keeps you dryer while you sleep. This bed can also be purchased up to Queen size as a single chamber, meaning the bed will only adjust for a single sleeper, which is a nice option for those who sleep solo.
